A Visit to the SMA Factory in Germany

Insight into the Manufacturing Process & Detailed Seminars at the World-Renowned Megafactory in Niestetal, Germany

Modest Solar, the waterproofing & solar division of Modest Company LLC’s, visited the factory of leading solar energy equipment supplier SMA Solar Technology AG in August 2019. The purpose of the visit was to establish the beginning of a long term business relationship between the two companies, as well as for Modest Solar to get a first-hand insight into the manufacturing process of SMA’s equipment that they use in their projects.

Through various trainings and seminars attended at SMA’s Solar Academy in Niestetal, Germany, Modest Solar learnt in detail the proper design, installation, commissioning, operations and maintenance procedures for SMA’s solar inverters and hybrid controllers. Thanks to the training programs, the Modest Solar team is now authorized by SMA in the design and commissioning PV-Diesel Systems with SMA’s Hybrid Controller.
